You probably need to set out in a bit more detail what you intend to do in France, your experience, funding, family commitments etc and we can then help a bit more. You have to remember that a large proportion of expat farmers end up going home again, poorer but wiser.

It's the same deal. You look at what farms in France were selling for 15 years agi

Well , I think the ex pat buyers have fooked the market , too many paid too much , get in to trouble and try to sell , can't sell for market price because they paid more , french sellers follow suit .
