I don’t understand, yes we are very happy here and are happy to still be part of Europe but I came to terms with the choice of my home country long ago. It is what it is and I hope it all works out for everybody on all sides.

No one moved to France because France was in the EU. I presume you moved there because you loved their culture, their country and their way of life. Can't argue with that. Rural France feels like it won't ever change. It could be under full Soviet rule and rural France would never change. Long may it continue.

Fascinating, I always think of the Auvergne as largely livestock but of course you still need the machines to suit that

I reckon Allier is around 50/50. If you head south from us the bottom of Allier and top of Puy de Dome is arable plain land with deep volcanic (soil so I am told). I think Cantal is fairly mountainous and livestock based. We are mixed but with a 80/20 split livestock arable. If we manage to buy the place we have found locally and keep this place we might be a bit more arable, the dirt is ok albeit wet in winter but the climate reduces yield opportunities to around 5-6tonnes per hectare for cereals. Some of those videos are quite interesting.

I don’t know the answer to your question and sorry, but we spent last weekend on a walnut farm... and they had t had a harvest for three years

With respect about half the story. He ethinicaly cleaned Ukraine from Kiev to the east. With the Russian Kry border. Hence the complete *********up now in the country half in the west of Kiev want a sexy blonde as head honcho and a western future. East of the contaminated by Chernobyl River they are Russians who wish to re- integragrate with Mother Russia.
