Has anyone looked at this at all? Looks like it is a bit of initial funding to get farm diversification ideas off the ground. Was wondering whether it could be used to get a milk processing plant installed for local sales etc - still thinking...... anyone got any thoughts ?

We've got the peeps running this in our AONB coming to see us on Thursday, you will have someone equivalent on your patch i'd invite them out. It may be that each area will have its own priorities, you just need to remind them that on farm milk processing is one of theirs.

I have heard a little bit about this grant. It has all been a bit last minute, as a result they are expecting to be short of applicants initially, sounds like an opportunity to press on with a claim.

Three year scheme, this is year 1 so as you say they need applicants for money to be spent by 31/3/22.

It seems a bit of a messy one with overlap into CS, Elms, CSF
These are the areas they are covering but our AONB still has to appoint two members of staff to deal with it so I imagine year one will be a tad fraught…
