Tell the bank to get f**kd.Dad died last year,dad self,brother in partnership,no overdraft but 2 mortages nearly paid.All we did was sign something to say that partner had died.he did leave his partnership share to self & brother but the bank never saw/knew that. Lloyds bank.It's not a legal requirement that they freeze or close the account. It's done at their own discretion. I could understand it if we owed them money secured by partners assets or such like but we don't owe them anything. We are in credit and don't have or need a borrowing facility.
I think they are just being awkward.
