No minimum distance, as it's wider than 4m overall.
If a hedge is more than 4m there's no requirement either.
That's my understanding of it anyway.
As above though, is it really desirable to get closer than a couple metres?

There’s a difference between going close to a big tree, vs something which is technically a wood according to RPA, but in reality the edge it more like a hedge.
