Oooh Britains! That takes me back, I remember breaking my massey cabs and combine header, quite brittle, animals were ok, but figures with a metal base snapped off, maybe wait till young un's a bit older for britains stuff, whatever you get him you'll end up playing with as much as him!

Alfie had a fire in the cow shed this week.

He took quick and decisive action, and moved the cattle up onto the loft. 🤔

Years ago my little brother used an old cardboard box to make a grain store. Painted it like the bins in the yard, folded card for the roof, and a bit of water pipe as the discharge shoot.
Mum got a shock when she tried to move it and found he’d put about five stone of wheat in it !!
Nana baby sat one afternoon and let them use a bag of lentils for grain. Mice invasion over the following few weeks!

My 3 year old had the siku blister range when he was younger still plays with them. He now has lots of 1:32 hes been really good with them and has not broken much. He likes both scales equally really. I made some sheds for 1:32 (brushwood ripoffs) last xmas when he was 2.5 he only now getting into playing with them. Found using some implements a great way of potty training him. 50p each time on potty when he had enough he got the model.

We did the same with the Siku 1/87 range.

Anyone point t me in the right direction to get implements for Britain's 1:32?

My boy has started getting Britain's tractors now and wants a seed drill and a plough for his Christmas and I can't find much if anything online . When I was little Britain's had a massive range of stuff .

Considering buying our near 3 year old terrorist a set farm yard set of toys for Christmas. I was wondering if anyone knew which manufacturer or even scale size would be best to get? It's a far different thing compared to the stuff I had as a lad that is for sure, looked in a shop the other day and was bewildered by the sheer variety now. The big models look amazing but it's going to fill up his room pretty fast with his fleet if they are all that size.

I would like to get him a few buildings and enough stuff, livestock etc to start him off, maybe £200 or so). Which brand of toys is best and would give value for money? Or should I get the wife to knuckle down and build the yard and buildings? She is very crafty and quite able to make a lot of cool stuff.

Thanks in advance.
