Hello!
This forecast is a little late being issued; that's because the models have performed so appallingly this week I wanted to leave it until the last minute so that the forecast can be as accurate as possible. It looks like Saturday is likely to be the better day of the weekend with Sunday being rather murky for most. More details below.
Now, I've got two places remaining on my popular Farming Weather School (Part 1) course on Wednesday 7th March 2018. The course will run from 10am to 4pm here in Wombourne and the aim is to maximise your own forecasting skills by showing you what's good and bad, and explaining a little more about how the weather works and how you can spot those weather windows.
You can book your place and find out more at www.WeatherSchool.co.uk
And don't forget, Weatherweb Premium also has lots of weather wisdom and is continuing to grow with more members joining every week. There's stack of weather information, forecasts and learning to be found on the website and you can try Weatherweb Premium completely free at

WEEKEND WEATHER FORECAST
==========================
Issued: 1500 hrs, Friday 16th February 2018
SATURDAY
---------------
A weak occluded front passing east on Saturday bringing some showery rain to northern England, the Midlands and parts of southern England too. This should be clearing eastern areas I the afternoon. A further occluded front gives showery bursts of rain to the north and west of Scotland.
Elsewhere the day should be brighter with sunny spells and it should be mostly dry. Just an odd shower could affect western coasts and hills.
Cloud increases in western Ireland later ahead of the warm front, bringing some drizzle and rain here towards the evening.
Winds SW 15-20kt (F5) in Scotland, W 12-15kt 9F4) in southern England.
SUNDAY
------------
Weakening fronts affecting all parts of the UK and Ireland on Sunday. The extent of the warm front indicating there will be lots of moisture, hence lots of cloud and therefore poor visibility for many.
Outbreaks of rain and drizzle, especially in the west and over high ground. Hill and coastal fog may be extensive in western and southern areas too.
It may be that places protected by high ground to the west could become a little brighter in the afternoon; the Midlands, northeast England and eastern Scotland.
Winds SW 15-18kt 9F4-F5) in the east, becoming W 15-20kt 9F4-F5) in western areas and SW 20-25kt 9F5-F6) in Ireland.
