Hello,
Apologies for the late issue of this forecast!
I've mentioned that I have been arranging extra dates for a Farmers Weather School (Part 1). Well, I'm delighted to announce that I hope to run the next course on Wednesday 7th March. The course will run from 10am to 4pm here in Wombourne and the aim is to maximise your own forecasting skills by showing you what's good and bad and explaining a little more about how the weather works and how you can spot those weather windows.
There are a couple of places left on the course, so if you'd like to come along or want more information please see http://weatherschool.co.uk/farming-weather-school-part-1/
And don't forget, Weatherweb Premium also has lots of weather wisdom and is continuing to grow with more members joining every week. There's stack of weather information, forecasts and learning to be found on the website and you can try Weatherweb Premium completely free at

WEEKEND WEATHER FORECAST
==========================
Issued: 1500 hrs, Friday 19th January 2018
SATURDAY
---------------
A small area of low pressure in the Irish Sea on Saturday will be drifting slowly eastwards. Troughs close to northeast Scotland and eastern England will be heading south, bringing a few showers.
Rather dull and murky over Ireland, Wales and the west and south of England on Saturday morning with some outbreaks of rain, sleet and snow over high ground. Any improvement will likely be slow and so the majority of the day is expected to be rather dull, misty and damp here.
Brighter to the north with bright or sunny spells in Northern Ireland, Scotland and the far north of England. However, a few showers around western and northern coasts of Scotland.
Winds rather variable but mainly W 8-12kt (F3-F4) in the south, mainly NW 12kt (F4) in the north, although do expect variability and some gusts in any showers.
SUNDAY
------------
A more organised frontal system passing eastwards through Sunday. This brings rain, heavy in the west and stronger winds too. As the rain tracks east it may start to fall as snow over northern England and eastern Scotland.
Staying damp and cloudy for many into the late afternoon and evening as the heavier rain clears to the east and the sleet and snow turns to rain. Increasingly windy.
Winds SE 15-20kt (F4-F5) ahead of the fronts, then WSW 20-25kt (F5-F6) behind them, although 30kt (F7) in the west.
