Ah those skills you taught yourself years ago when the only farm truck/pickup was the old Mazda with its column gearchange. Taught you a lot about how to control a slide on those wet dewy mornings on grass, educated you on how to go up banks and how to come back down them without leaving any marks on the paintwork. Then there was how to sight a line through that muddy gateway so you didn't have to trudge back to the yard and go through the ignimony of getting a tow. The Mazda along with the Peugeot had those bench seats which found you sliding away from the pedals and steering wheel when driving along banks
