I can see you are putting alot of thought into this. :) You must be tempted.It would probably carry more than 50 cows and 500 ewes. Although to get a higher turnover,i dont think suckler cows would be the best. Need to specialise in something a bit more intensive. That big shed has possibilities.Could feed alot of cattle in there. If you could get guaranteed subsidies for 30 years,and come up within a stones throw of £50,000/year,then it would be possible. But would AMC lend you the money?
Not putting any thought into it because as said above it would be like moving to the artic for me and if i was interested i could sell up and buy it outright and some. A bit far for a second farm running back and fore with the kit too. I didnt think it was dear for the acreage thats all, be treble the money down here
