Hi, does anyone know what the issue could we with this? When selecting the gear pushing the shuttle leaver forward you hear a clonk like its gone into gear, take your foot off the clutch and it will just roll forward ever so slightly or sometimes not even at all, then after about 10 attempts will finally go into gear

Any comments would be appreciated many thanks

Sorry to hijack thread. But i have 2 of these looms which i was told are off a fastrac gearbox? Are they any use to anyone? I not sure if they are new and just been used as testers by a engineer or if they are second hand but told they do work and also come with the non magntic jublie clips to hold them.

Dont even know there value new but at a guess there quite a few quid?

I had a similar thing happen, put the shuttle in to drive, lift the clutch and no drive.
It turned out to be a relay behind the seat.
I don't know what one and not to say it I had the same problem.

It's all operated by air rams on the gearbox. I would check them out, make sure linkage etc are OK. Is it all gears? Same in reverse?
Yes same in reverse and all gears, will check the linkage. Could it be anything to do with the clutch pedal? Sometimes it you shove it down hard or play around with it then it seems to find gear. Many thanks

Will check it out, worth a try! Thanks

Could be a switch under the clutch pedal, when you press the clutch down it presses a switch that disconnects the drive of the splitter gears. Could also be the relay in the back as this is connected to that switch

just had a new set off a dealer as farmer had tried a few cheaper versions that didn't work, a few quid is abit of a understatement as they are £320 from JCB !!!

If the handbrake is off and the main gearstick is in neutral so the tractor can move slightly if required will it select forward or reverse ok then?

Going to check it out tomorrow, thank you
Hello Wiffin1: , Was looking at your post about the fastrac not selecting gear and was wondering did you get to the bottom of it, l just bought a 135-65 fastrac and have no hydraulic pressure for lift arms or spool valves and has the same problem as yours like when you put it into gear it just moves a fraction when lifting the clutch but nothing more after that, If you can tell me anything I would really appreciate it Thank you....

Did you ever fix this problem? I'm having the exact same thing happen with my Fastrac 3220. Clutch will engage and tractor will move about couple of feet then stop. All three ranges work, and pneumatic shifters are engaging fully, but the tractor will not engage drive. (As if the clutch had been disengaged manually). This has been ongoing for 2 years. I'm in the United States and there is absolutely no support for these tractors. (The dealer in Denver has never even seen one in person) This thing is a boat anchor sitting outside my shop. I've attempted to go through the wiring but every wire is yellow and the manual is less than helpful. The computer is throwing five codes: T071, T078, X069, V069, D031.
