Fastrac 4000 series

Can someone please explain the difference between the single active and dual active suspension? Im looking at a 4160 thats a base model and then a 4220 that has the dual active suspension. Does all 4220 have the dual active suspension? Ill be doing mostly spreading work so no real cultivation work. Is it necessary for the dual active suspension? Does it make the ride softer than the normal one? Does it compensate for the weight of the spreader better?

There is a lot more to the 42 than just the vario.. The hydraulic suspension is far more effective than the older setup and the cab is a massive step forwards. Almost every part is better except the daft fat bonnet that ruins the view to the loader. also first over 200hp and 4ws. If the tractor is going to spend lots of time in the field, vario seems the way forward.. For road work it only suits lazy drivers with time and diesel to waste.. There is a good reason trucks don't run vario's! Could we not have a gearbox that's vario up to 20k odd then overridden by an auto shifting synchro box?
They have something like that with the dual tec gearbox set up on the Agripro loadalls.

I’ve got one on demo at the moment. I find it very noisy compared to others, anyone else find this or is it just me?
