Fastrac 4220 lift arms slow

New to me fastrac, one thing I’ve noticed is the rear lift arms are deathly slow to go down. Front links go up and down like a fiddlers elbow, but the rear are painful. I’ve turned up the speed under the armrest. Any one else notice this?

Are the pickup hitch drop arms tight?

Gary on grassmen was saying exactly the same thing about there one.

I know I need to spend my spare time better!

There like that for heath and safety apparently, ours won't go down quick unless something is on them

Fastrac rear linkage

Start the tractor press the lift switch up or down and end it'll be very slow press again it'll stop it press again it goes at whatever speed you have it set to up or down.

It must be a safety thing .

Also the buttons you need on the right hand pillar move it very slow they're only of any use to get it high enough to unlock the pickup hitch then use the depth dial after waking the lift up to full speed!!!

Thanks for all replies. I’ll try this approach, I’ve just found hitching up requires patience for the hitch to lower so far!

Standard I'm afraid.
Apparantly some have increased the size of the hydraulic pipes which has helped, but it is a ball-ache which spoils a great tractor, (as well as iffy a/c and flat out noise)

Oh aye I forgot about that I gave up trying to use the auto for the climate control due it it just running the fan flat out all the time!!!!
But there's something else went wrong with mine recently it's either freezing or roasting even if you just shift the heat control 1 degree warmer it must just be opening it right up

If you need max cold, put the fan on fast but leave the temp at say 18.5, rather than lowest temp.

Mine is fine at 15 but at half fan all the time but something definitely wrong just now
