Does anyone think jcb build bigger fastracs power wise in the future ?.
Pictures of 8000 series Fastrac prototype have been posted on this site (can't remember where though) and it's basically a bigger version of 4000 series.Does anyone think jcb build bigger fastracs power wise in the future ?.
Would be nice, not sure if they will continue pushing forwards with the construction market over the ag side. Was impressed with what was at lamma though. First thing id like changed is the touch screen terminal, very dated nowDoes anyone think jcb build bigger fastracs power wise in the future ?.
Prototype? I think you are behind the times as the prototype was 2016 i think. .Pictures of 8000 series Fastrac prototype have been posted on this site (can't remember where though) and it's basically a bigger version of 4000 series.
But it was still a prototype no?Prototype? I think you are behind the times as the prototype was 2016 i think. .
Fastrac had lots of models, 2000' series, 3000, series, plus options like 4 wheel steer,Pictures of 8000 series Fastrac prototype have been posted on this site (can't remember where though) and it's basically a bigger version of 4000 series.
They use the Agco 6.6 on 4220, it shouldn't be that hard to put the Agco 7.4 in there and pump it up to 250hp+.Get a 8330.
There is a bit of a hp gap between 4000 and 8000 series though.
Was rumours of a 6000 series, weather it ever materialises who knows. 250hp in a 4000 series chassis would be a fair beast. Think the engine in 4220 is at its limit already though.

That be next logical seriesSpoke to guy at Lamma who works on fastrac development he said there was nothing happening yet with 6000series
Something wrong with that one then. They should hold on a hill.. Must have needed calibration?? Can anybody explain how this function works? does the hydrostat keep running and cancel out the incoming mechanical drive exactly..?I had one on demo, the old man loved it and so did I to a point. My biggest gripe was the cvt, it would not stop and hold its self on a slope? And having used cvt transmissions for a number of years now in our 2 main tractors which do hold themselves on a good gradient with christ knows how much wait behind them, I really went off the JCB. I think you could have the option of the hand brake automatically coming on but why does the transmission not hold its own? BIG step backwards for me.

I didn't know about that to be honest but does that setting only helps rather than holds it to stop? I presume the Fendt tractors stop and hold on a gradient?
Yes they do. Gradient or flat makes no difference.I presume the Fendt tractors stop and hold on a gradient?
