Since June 2021 we have seen a rapid increase in the deadweight price but on the flip side this has not risen as quickly as the input costs, including feed. Anna and Tom discuss the cost of a basic barley ration and the change they have seen in these systems over the last year, including the movement to a lower starch diet through the utilisation of co-products.
