Changed mix today to 1800kg barley, 200 kg dark grains and 150kg molasses.

Don't have access to wheat.

The barley is treated with maxammon so higher protein anyway. Bruising more barley tomorrow so can mix it with maxammon treated stuff to lower protein.

Has the treated stuff heated at all?
Or gone off colour?

How are those Bulls coming on now @Chae?

I'm trying to decide what to put fatteners onto, currently on 4.8kgs barley and 1.7kgs 34% balancer plus ad lib silage. 14months Ch/Sim/Lim. I could keep it simple and just up barley, drop silage and put a bale of straw in bunker. But would they do better if I do a mix with barley, pot ale, beet pulp(or oats which we have) and less balancer to get a 13-14% blend to feed ad-lib.
