Feeding cold milk to calves

I’m renting a shed for calf rearing 15mins from home..Iv no
way of warming water at the shed..has anyone fed cold milk replacer to calves??
These calves come to me at 4 weeks old.
Or is it a non starter??

There is quite a bit published on this topic.

It's not as deleterious as you might think as an observer.
Environment is super, super key though.
Assurance mandate is post 28d and manufacturer approval, I think.

these are a great job. Got one 6 years ago.
If we’ve surplus milk from fresh calved cows in morning heat up for afternoon feeding.
Do you just warm the milk in buckets??
I’m feeling milk powder but if I got a old milk kit filled with water how long would it take to warm?

I would heat it in buckets of around 15-18 litres of milk. Time wise it’s hard to say I turn it on go and do something and it’s ready when I come back could be 10 minutes.
