Feeding cow rolls

Just curious if anyone has a method of feeding cow rolls on the hill? I’ve been thinking about buying a snacker for a few years but not sure if they work with rolls? And covering rough ground? I’ve always just fed from bags but it can be a bit hazardous! Thanks

Plenty of ewe rolls are fed through snackers, and presumably cow rolls would be the same size? Plenty of snackers run about doing that on rough ground without turning over too.

we’ve previously contract farmed cattle and deer on hls, rough chalk downland where we did just that. Feeding rolls through a snacker to fattening cattle and red deer over the winter. Works well and far safer and easier than emptying bags out. Pulled behind a quad. Never had issues with it tipping over - but then drive like hell at 25mph and it would flip!

Thanks for the replies. Snacker sounds like the way forward, any recommendations? Something simple and robust would be best, will only be used for cattle
