Currently feeding crimp barley , beans and fodder beet to B&W bulls , running out off beans so has been suggested feed just crimp barley and a urea based product . 1 Ton barley to 50kg of the urea product , is anyone doing this ? I am not over keen on urea but they tell me it’s the bees knees ?

Feeding B&W bulls here on barley, wheat, urea and soya based protein and molasses. Bulls doing well on it. Been using for 5/6 year now.
Ad-lib straw offered too.

I have no mixer wagon either , just mix it against the wall at mo , so weather mixing urea wouldn’t be good enough . Are u finishing B&W in 12 mths ?

I'm in a similar situation (rubbish bean crop). So for my larger cattle I'm feeding barley, wheat, limestone flour with soya, rape meal, urea protein. So I'm putting 50kg into a ton of cereals so far so good. The younger bulls are still getting beans.
