Hello. Another update. Have had a few dentist appointments recently and another today at 2 quickly. Have had the usual anxiety over it all. But the one thing I can't shake or get rid of is waking up feeling sick. It's a bad taste in my mouth I think Iv narrowed it down to which makes sickness feeling. Before used to be it wake in rush but now even tho no appointments that day or anything to get nervous over I still get it. In process of getting re accessed by doctors at the moment

Will, is the sick taste due to the feelings of anxiety or, if you are on certain drugs, do they have this side effect? it may be that the yucky feeling is due to something else so being reassessed by the doctor is probably a good thing. Think about what you eat and drink in the evenings and your sleeping position(s) as this may also have an effect on how you feel in the morning.

Good luck and I hope the symptoms settle down again very quickly.

If the CBT isn't working then it could be worth trying a different person? I went for over a year and it really helped, before I went I would be the guy saying "talking won't help anything". But it really changed my life.
I see alot of similarities between us with the things your posting. I went through a long period of depression and I think I've got it licked, but it left anxiety issues that I didnt have before. I'm on with trying to sort them at the moment. Such things as being really nervous about going out for a few pints with my best mate, even though I know I'll have fun, to the point that it gives me really bad guts. constantly overthinking things, past, present and future. Waking with a racing heart in the middle of the night, coursing with adrenaline. I know it's all in my head, but that doesn't make it any easier to fix!
Maybe try different medication too?

If you ever need to chat, just PM me.
I'm not saying I'll have any answers, but I've been there [emoji106][emoji26]

Copy out what you have posted on here about symptoms and how you are feeling, and take it with you to your GP appointment. Much easier to remember everything when you have it written down in front of you. Good luck Will and hope you feel better soon.
