Feeling sick

Well Im on 5th week of taking digestive enzymes (HCI with botine) and honestly I have had the fog lifted, my stomach has settled everything is working in tune. Dont under estimate the gut ruling the brain. Now I dont know what risks there are but worth disguising this method with a GP that understands the gut. I assume you cant take SSRIs with it but its the best £12 I have spent in many years. I have spent my whole life with sporadic nausea, silent reflux and bowel problems which in turn have had an effect on my anxiety/depression and there is pretty much no reason for this as yes. like many have had episodes of tragedy in my life but in general my life is very good compares to others. I would consider this and spend a few hours reading up on this. I also take mastic gum. I only take 1 HCL after evening meal at the mo.

something else to look into is this. It may not be the case however look at the FODMAP diet and what it states about elimination . https://draxe.com/sibo-symptoms/

I would also consider increasing probiotics in either home made yogurts made from whole milk or buy probiotics from Optibac.

You could ask to be referred to a gut specialist and get tested for food allergies/intolerance. Or pay to see an alternative practitioner (you want someone good). Sadly all GPs want to do is push the pill but you could have issues that are causing this GAD.

Sorry to bring up a silly thread again. Having a bad night, been feeling little anxious since evening but managed to cope but since coming bed I can’t seem to settle at all. Feel sick, hot and sweaty, all usual symptoms of feeling nervous and anxiety. Iv been on new medication since April but hasn’t helped at all and the doctor I saw in mental health place i saw back then seems to have vanish. Things have been getting to me a lot last few months and been very short tempered for no reason at all. Had a iffy night last night so my plan was to go bed later tonight to make myself more sleepy to be able to sleep tonight and make most of extra hour but seems to have backfired as feel worse now that I did a hour ago. Not exactly sure of reasons for another comment on thread Other that to lift my mind for a few mins to concentrate on typing.

That's no good, Will.
What medication have they put you on, my wife has issues with anxiety and so I sympathise.

Feel free to yarn away, I always have time.. currently providing radio comms for a coastline search as we have a couple of missing persons in the drink.

Sorry hear that to. Hope the missing persons be found safe. I’m on mirtazphine 45mg. Was on 30mg but in April they bumped me to that. Comes and goes so quick to. Starting to breath better now. Annoying part is, I could be ok now and settled enough to fall sleep, then in hour wake up as bad as ever

Do you suffer from panic/anxiety 'attacks', we have some lorazepam here in a little bottle, which are for knocking her out :sneaky:
Otherwise, exactly what you described is the usual outcome, but she also can reach the point of being completely immobilised/convulsions/seizuring.

But the lorazepam just knock her out once they have brought her back, she says she can hear me but can't speak, so she will write me shaky little notes to let me know how she's doing :meh: it's really quite a bother, as depression and anxiety seem to feed the other so well.

Diet has made the biggest difference of all.

Sorry hear that. I don’t take panic attack’s as such just get myself into a state of sickness and anxiety over very little at times. I be told all time just don’t do it that or don’t let it happen. But it doesn’t be that simple. I shall to get some sleep now. Thanks for the chat all be it brief. Hope rest of your job goes ok. Feel a fool now for adding onto a old silly thread

Don't feel silly, drop me a PM if you ever feel a bit lost or anything.
Usually about, and most of what's on here is of very little interest TBH.

Sorry you're not feeling too good again @will6910. As well as your medicines it would be really helpful for you to learn some sort of relaxation techniques. Using them will give you a good control of your symptoms before they get out of hand. Look online/ask your GP about any courses in your area. Best wishes and hope you feel better soon.

Just wish I could go a day without feeling sick or anxious over something. Woke this morning felt ok, went to bathroom and in the short space time i started to get a rumbling tummy, any normal person wouldn’t pay any attention as prob just hungry. But not me, iv gone from feeling fine to now feeling sick and anxious incase I’m taking a bug or the cold and worrying What I can do to forget it. Then thinking back to last days i wasn’t well with the cold and how it started. I know I know all have to do is forget it and carry on as it’s only a cold or sickness and it’s temporary but for me it’s not that simple

Just small update. Things much same really. Feel ok for a few days then boom things hit me again like last night. I’m missing the structure and routine of having animals to feed and check. I still have some sheep but doesn’t take long to sort them out and with lambs still being sold Itl be getting even less. Been trying to keep myself motivated outside but really struggling again

Would you consider doing a hgv license. I could get you a part time job in the morning and it would earn you money, get you out of the yard, and give you something to think about and live for and meet people
