Feet - an alternative discussion

Any of you guys that have bought some PP, could you look on the bottle and tell me whether it is licensed/approved for use as a footbathing additive? Apparently I can use it under organic if it is licensed for the use. If I have a bottle of some homeopathic remedy I can use that without license as it is exempt!

Nothing specific wrote on the pot i have but when googling potasium permanganate dermatitis i came across this.
Not sure if it will satisfy the requirements you need.

dilute solutions are used for treating ulcers (Canker Sores) and as a disinfectant for treatment of mild dermatitis and fungal infections of hands and feet such as athletes foot.

Amazing it will do anything at such low inclusion. I have a pre bath, should I use it in just that bath or knock formalin in the second bath on the head and use it in both? Has anyone made a premix concentrate for footbaths then?

i was urged by my vet to put in two baths in a row
i reluctantly did
a few weeks ago at a DD meeting , pre baths were rubbished , due to a wet foot allowing product to not adhere as well
i now put PP in both baths

Bought some PP off eBay today.:)

I remember my bro being prescribed some for his manky feet,it sorted him so it has half a chance with dd.

Are you finding it affective @jimmer ?

i washed and sprayed everything with even the slightest lesion with alamycin spray
dropped from 11% to 5% in a week , PP every day for ten days , not counted since , but would wager it is lower

We put formalin in both our footbaths now because as you say pre baths weren't found to be that effective.

lameness control plan recommended putting formalin or lincocin in both baths at onset
