I've seen them in the FMJ very occasionally.
An old circular saw works well, one of those powered by a twin cylinder Lister is what I have in mind.

This is what I had in mind as the hard way.The saw bench above is only as an example. I'm not advising you to take on a full blown restoration project! (I'd be looking for a 'working' item
) The Cundey would be the easy way. There's a big cost difference between them, it depends which way you wish to go.
There's money in fence posts IF and thats a BIG IF you can dry them properly and the subsequent treatment will last 30 years to the required BS8417 standard.
