Fencing around a pub

You would be surprised how determined people can be. Even a barbed wire fence could become damaged with stretched wire and all sorts. Or they will find a way around it and cause damage elsewhere. Even seemingly reasonable people can be like this, they walk over from the footpath, find the new fence and don’t want to walk back, so find a way to get over..... just this once.

hence the creosote and used engine oil mix, I know from using it on stuff here, that it takes a very long time to dry!

Bit of an update, spoke to the estates land agent about an unrelated subject earlier and she brought up that the pub had complained above water run off from our field running through there beer garden and car park.
Now it sounds like the estate are going to pay (probably me) to do some drainage work to try and sort the run off.
Now I’m thinking ditch deep enough to hold water (like a moat) then a fencing on the top to stop it been jumped across 🤔😬 and best yet it sounds like the estate and the pub will be paying the costs 👍🏼.
I’ll keep the thread posted of any updates

Well done! Sounds like the sort of deal @Hfd Cattle would end up with!
