hi folks! Sorry if this is in the wrong place (please feel free to move) or been covered before! But has any body got any experience of a cup that fits into a hyd breaker on the front of a digger? Does one size do all? Can you drive strainers? I like the look, but would like to hear from somebody already using one! Thanks in advance for any comments!

Goodevans! I don’t know why I didn’t think of that! It would be safer as well! You know only too well of the dangers of diggers, branches and inexperienced drivers!!
Thanks Wheatland for your offer! How do you get on with it? I will check our pins! However do you know what the diameter of the cup shaft is? Would that be better! I think ours is 75mm but will check it out if we try that!

I wish I had suggested you had one of the handles now

I have tried this and to be honest its not a great success.
It is very difficult to get the breaker straight above the post owing to the fact that you have to put some weight on it in order to "drive" it down.
Ours will not drive strainers in (Kubota KX91 with arrowhead S30 breaker).
The cup is prone to falling to pieces at regular intervals.

We changed tack and bought a Protech 220 with a 300kg hammer, NOW thats how to put posts in!!
It will drive 8 ft telegraph poles in without putting points on them. Normal fence posts require 2 and a bit strikes.
And before anyone says it, yes, its too big for our machine, it needs a sympathetic operator.
