I think the prices are a secret.A rough price for the ‘standard’ farmer’s post of 5’6” 3-4” rounds would give us a bit more to go on maybe.......

You should point the wide end of the stake , always stand timber the same way as it grew.I'm using half sawn sweet chestnut now. Look nice too. Hopefully will see me out. Only problem is some are too wide at the top for the hand rammer so either need cutting down or putting in with something else.

This is what i need i think, the split (and therefore mostly bowed) ones are too prone to flexing and breaking. Sawn at least would be straight.
