Fendt 511c 4WD

Hello everyone, I got a Fendt 511c built in 1999 and I got some issue with the 4WD which I can live with it but would be nice to hear some other opinions on that. The 4WD activates and deactivates when I manually push the buttons but for automatically 4WD it is not disengaging when I turn the steering wheel. I had some errors in the tractors memory but nothing related to steering wheel sensor. Does anybody know what might cause this issue ? Should I go all in for a sensor fail ?

I have a 1997 model 515 with the exact same problem. Been like this for years. Never went about sorting it though as never used auto function that much. Remember dragging a beet harvester around a sticky headland and suddenly the FWD disengaged and I was going nowhere .
I did mention it to a mechanic when the tractor was in for other work but he wasn’t too inclined to look at it then so it never did get sorted.
Sorry can’t help you but interested in any solution you may find.

Thanks for reply. Yeah will look over it, don't know what else might be except sensor. I don't know if there is a calibration code for 4wd, will have to google for a service manual and check in there for possible causes.

Don’t think there’s any calibration, think is a simple reed sensor and magnet by the swivel bearings in the axle, check wiring first
