Icing up or temp sensor in the evap core is failing causing the compressor stop or a gas leak. But as above dust out your cab filters and make sure the evap core isnt gummed up with dirt.

More info please... Do you get plenty of air flow through the vents? Is the air warm or ice cold? How often does the compressor cycle? Any bubbles in the sight glass on the drier when running?

Mostly its one of these, work through them in any case:
1) evap blocked with crap
2) cab filters blocked
3) fan or ducts got some problem
4) condenser blocked
5) engine fan viscous coupling partially failed

If above all good, move onto:
6) low system charge
7) air in system
8) moisture in system
9) defective thermostat or expansion valve.
10) compressor worn out.

Having a similar issue with 724 at the moment, dealer talked me through recalibrating the air con but doesn't seem to of improved it. Think it probably needs re gassing again.

Air con in mine is good. Haven't had problems with it being too warm. Have a word with your dealer I have also heard of systems being re calibrated.

Id imagine you have a leak on the hot water valve for the heater letting water leak round the system and keeping things warm rather than completely turned of stopping warm water getting into the radiator for the heater,if you see what i mean.i had this priblem on my john deere last year and yes we get problems with them too

It's been recalibrated numerous times,I just wanted to see what others were finding.

I will get dealer to it again, they can replace the shite spool couplings for a 3rd time while their at it.:banghead:

We have had machines allowing hot water to still circulate ,so heating and cooling at the same time. Best check for this is if air con works brilliant until engine up to temp.

Down here, where things obviously get hotter, it is common for a tap to be put in the heater line to turn off the water from going through the heater unit to help the ac function better. My MF 7620 came with it. And when I had issues with the controller in a new jcb tubby, the dealer quick fix was cut the heater hose and put in a tap. Works perfectly....Only pita is shoulder times of year when you might want heater on in morning and ac at lunch..
