Fendt 718 remap

Well turns out this is 100% correct, got the tractor mapped today, it was only around 160hp at the shaft, got it turned up to around 200 and then when we tried to go higher the torque sensor kicked in and killed her away back down to 150hp and brought up codes on the dash.. so had to go backwards and settle for our 200hp map. She still gained 45hp and 264lbft over standard though so should hopefully make her a good bit better to work with!

i would be concerned by the torque back up figures obviously the remap version is far worse, but jd often have TBU figures in the 30 %,??anyone??

better people than me will explain it, but too me it means the hang on of an engine, when it is under great pressure,ie going up a steep long hill when the engine is dying away one with i higher TBU will hang on longer, this can also show on a dyno by the length of the test, over to the experts lol

the front axle is different , front linkage & gearbox are all different on , a fendt is one tractor i would not remap , better to buy the one you need
What’s the difference in the front axle?

The diff the hubs and the housings on a 720 and 724 are the same.

The load rating is more on a 724 and the pinnion is heavier, on all S4 tractors

The load rating may be more but the pinions are the same see the pictures.

If anyone is interested I’ve screenshots of both the 720 and 724 rear end parts books and I cannot find anything different, the final drives are the same the transmissions are the same.

That is not what I told but you may be right I just know I would not remap one and are very happy with the ones we have
