Fendt at huge reduction!!!

I can only think of two companies that would risk it and one is a light green and the other leaf green. They are both big family firms which probably makes them more 'flexible' than big corporations.

Lots of ways to skin a cat. A common one is for example advertised 0% at say £120k. Cash price £110k.
Farmer pays £120k but doesn’t take up the 0% finance but when he picks the tractor up he gets a £10k item on the back of it for example.
Or if there’s no paper trail of 0% ever being discussed between the dealer and farmer then the dealer orders the exact same tractor as quoted on the 0% promoted deal from the factory and sells it for cash price of £110k.

That’s some pretty serious accusations..... I’d go to the press if you have solid evidence! I’ve never done it! Wouldn’t dare! Fines are too large.

It’s also why I always refused to offer any kind of finance as it wasn’t worth getting involved. I will also point out the customers are as bad at requesting bending the rules so it’s not just a dealer.

No wonder a lot of farms are in the red most of the year .If anyone is daft enough to take them up on the deal they really should seek some advice from their accountants .
I wonder how many of these 132,000 tractors these dealers are going to shift when the single farm payment heads south!!, I over stretched myself 4 years ago when i bought mine but it was in the mid 70 k bracket which was expensive enough, the price there at now is just to high, what price are they going to be in 10 years, £200,000 for 180 hp, when beef and wheat are still the same price.

I was looking around online and was shocked to see the used prices for some 7 series Fendts. There’s loads for sale 2016 up to 5/6000 hours and still the best part of £80k!!!

How much is a new one?! I was guessing £110k but I reckon that wouldn’t even be close unless they really are depreciation proof!

724 top spec £150,000. There’s a thread on here somewhere where somebody spent considerable time looking into new prices vs used prices and the conclusion was most tractors pretty much depreciate at the same rate irrelevant of brand. It comes down to the fact whether you can afford to buy the expensive one and have larger payments going out until you’ve paid it off over the cheaper brand.

I was told a 720 power plus with front pto loader and 3yr warranty was £127500

That's only the first time you buy the brand though like you say once there depreciation is about same through all brands so cost to change shouldn't be much more

Wow... that sort of confirms that I’ll never have one of those then! :(

Perhaps it’s just me but there’s no way I’d pay £80k+ for a tractor with 6k hours?!

Makes sense though that once you’ve made the first jump, that’s the worst one. As they depreciate the same except with higher trade in figures next time round.

I believe the profi is going to be discontinued. I think a lot of these deals that fendt are pushing are for power and power plus. Then top of range profi plus. Does anybody know any more about the rumour that Fergie are wanting out of the agco Brand

I don't know it's a rumour I heard that someone high up on Massey side wants to bring it out if the group. I haven't been to dealers so not asked there yet so not sure what full story is just interested but of no real concern now as if something was happening my dealer would stay Fergie and let fendt go

Perhaps MF are now the bottom rung of AGCO? Valtra more desirable, and Fendt high end premium leaving MF in no mans land?
I really don't know that's why I asked thought someone here may have a more fact based idea. You may have a point though, a dyna vt with less spec than the valtra was 8k more to swap even a dyna6 was 2k more
