Mine has done it twice left me laid on floor once luckily fell opposite way to pile of glass and was in a field. Fendt denied it was a issue but wasn't long before they were out doing a 'mod' putting a support bar from bottom bar upto the floating door catch handle

Oh, it's not just me then,

I landed on the pile of glass on tarmac, not good:(

Mine has a bar up from the bottom to the handle, maybe it is the modified type? It's just gone 3 years old.

I have had it happen just a sudden explosion and door was gone. Fairly sure there was an upgrade to the door handle bars. Was on a 07 machine when it was fairly new so can’t quite remember.

Happened to me this fall, opened the door to get out and mid swing it popped, attributed it to farmer climbing in and out several times that day to check progress, slammed it like a madman when he got out :banghead:

1st time mine went pre mod I fell to floor and sat up with door handle still in my hand. Had bent the s shaped grab handle on the way out we found out when trying to cut the new glass rung up to price a new one but at the price they quoted decided to straighten what we had not many weeks later they came to fit new grab handle as a 'mod'. Plus side doors are alot cheaper for fendt than gator

All glass that is stressed by closing and/or has gas struts fitted is prone to flexing and stress. I've had several rear windows explode for no apparent reason, one when I was power-harrowing with rear window closed and just found another in bits on the yard one morning. Temperature fluctuation also stresses glass.
It is a miracle that frameless doors last as long as they do really. I've yet to have a door explode, but now that I've said that....

better than fendt engine sudden failure though eh ?
or fendt vario sudden failure hmmmm ?

I've had both of those happen in the past, but this is more painful - I'm still pulling bits of glass out of my hands and have bruises all down my right leg:blackeye:

Advice to anyone with one of these is to make sure you have a good hold of the grab handle on the cab when getting out.....

On any tractor if the windows are closed tight , and you bang the door closed the air pressure in the cab can break the door glass , I seen it happen on NH a few times , the trick is to leave the side window not latched tight .
