I've got a 716 and the hydraulics lock keep locking themselves.
I press the unlock button, and within 5 seconds they lock again. There's a hyd ram symbol coming up on the dash too.
Any ideas please as Sod's law has meant I've got a sprayer full of chemical I'm desperate to get on.

Probably the solenoid for controlling pilot pressure to spool valves its the one on the bottom of the spool block. What age of 716 is it because early ones can damage e box too if there is a short so I wouldn't try it to much until you change solenoid

It's an 03, it's occasionally done this before but turning the engine on and off has always cured it.

What's the error code the one for the solenoid is A. 1.F2 the part no for the complete solenoid is F916961020170 not sure if you can get just the coil separate as probably just broken wire inside it.

I've got 31 error codes, I can't work out how to clear them to see which are current.
The most relative one seems to be A.1.FO which the book says 'valve controlfor switching of all electrical valves......'

I've just done the pilot pressure solenoid and filter on my 818.

Easy job and sorted the problem of my spools locking out. About £160 for the solenoid valve kit and a new filter.

Where's that Joe

Look up from underneath where the battery is onto the bottom of the spool block there is a cap which is held on with 2 alan cap bolts 5mm I think, wipe off any dirt that's around it before removing it only a little filter could probably fit it in a egg cup fairly sure it's shown in the operators manual [emoji106]

Second what Joe o says would also add that the little brass filter might need changing to. Its in at the other side of the paper filter towards the back of the tractor. Its a real fiddle to get at but not impossible.

Hi guys I have a 2014. 415 The noise and vibration coming through the hydraulic system is so bad that the hydraulics do cut out from time to time
there is only 3700 hours on clock I bought it new the vario went at 2700hrs dealer only covered parts charged 7k for labour
the problem with the hydraulic system is there since it was about 2 years old and I’m getting no satisfaction from dealer
I’m very fond of the tractor as I am a farmer and structural steel farm building contractor an I do a lot of road work delivering farm buildings
I lost my leg in a farm accident in 2013 Back going strong again thanks to the fendt415 vario but this problem is really pissing me off Has anyone on hear ever had this problem. I’ll try upload a video of the noise
Would really like some good feedback as the dealer was only interested in the sale and not the after sales service

It might be the hydraulic pump. I think the dealer lifted your leg with the transmission, so be careful with what he is charging you for the next repair.

is there plenty oil in the tank. I would check the tightness of all the clamps. On the pipes around the bottom of the tank and the main suction pipe from tank to pump sounds like it's drawing air.

I think a new pump is £1300, fitted it ourselves. Would check out what GFA is saying as well first. Hopefully it is something silly.
We needed a new pump because an oil brake pipe burst on a trailer. Emptied the hydraulic oil.:banghead:

Hi. Yes plenty of oil in tank. And yes it sounds like it’s drawing air but everything is tight no leaks anywhere
Some days when I get up on it it’s perfect for about a hour then starts of like a jackhammer
Other times it starts off the minute I turn the key

It could be a fault with the compensator on the pump or the relief valve. Some diagnostics required.
