Fendt or Fastrac

Around 16 months ago I contacted Lee's about a 2012 STrac they were replacing with a new one . It was around 6000 hrs at 6 years old and the price was £105000 which was just a bit more than my 2012 Bateman RB 35 was worth with 4500 hrs . It did have the pipes and pumps for suspension fert which was not of any use to me .Mine had cost £165000 new but the S trac would have been dearer . Was really tempted but decided not in the end. I did ask Cave tractors about a new one and speced up as I wanted it was £45000 more than a new RB 35 which is what I ended up with.
Rob Chanell ( spelling ? ) ended up buying Lee's machine to join another one he has . Don t know the guy but he appears in the press a bit and won sprayer operator thing few years ago and then set up on his own. Does quite abut for Omex on suspension fert.

That fastrac looks a neatly done outfit. Booms are huge but you can use smaller ones. Front and rear tanks got to be worth looking at. A CVT fastrac with a demount sprayer and 4ws has to be the best of all worlds surely. They won't take that long to get on and off these days either.

John from JTA sprayers does good work. His sprayers are gaining a lot of popularity here the last few years. ive spoken to him quite a bit and anything is possible. He’s recently built a poppy/ hemp harvester based on a Claas xerion.

Where that fast race will be working I doubt he’s too concerned about traffic on the road. The big jd sp sprayers are probably worse than this when folded.
