Did one of those before lunch, dealer has one so get it first thing tomorrow. This is where a flanged/bolt on stub PTO comes into its own. 6 bolts and your away.
I think there is no way to use 21 spline in this version. Pto is anyway three speeds 540,540e,1000It must come out easily.. how do you use a 21 spline? Almost every single part of my Fendt's have failed, except that part..
You're right and by the needed tools, it's diy. But I have no time and clean space to do it. So it will go to dealer workshop. You have to drop the hitch off then remove the whole pto housing. Then remove the gears and selector forks inside and it’ll come out.
I think it is Fendts way of recouping the lower initial cost on the low spec model!I think there is no way to use 21 spline in this version. Pto is anyway three speeds 540,540e,1000

And yes there are two versions, one where you can replace without any striping down and then there is this one.

412 Vario 2006Sorry to see that, hope you get sorted ok.
What model is that?
Any six cylinder has easier layout that's what I can say. There are mixed information of this hard-to-replace part but it seems that some 400 and 500 series has this setup.Which would have the easier layout?
Before getting moving again please check PTO shaft didn't dead end/ run out of sliding movement and do this damage as another run doing same again may well bring you back to this exact situation to quickly or immediately.
