Just been watching an online auction,2 x 724 fendts 2021,one had 4000hrs with standard and rowcrop wheels, made £85k,other had done 4700hrs made £88k,these tractors would be £150k plus when bought new i would imagine, looks like its a bit of a myth that fendts hold there value better than the rest, also had a 21 reg 718 6000hrs with loader on it at £70k.

@Clive has the fendt bubble burst?

It’s not like 20 years ago where nothing else on the market had the same sophistication/comfort/fuel efficiency, everyone else has more or less caught up now so that leaves residuals and owner/operator preference as the driving force behind whether people will continue to pay the premium but is that premium still as big? Other manufacturers aren’t far away on price now, once spec is like for like.

The main problem is the new prices are out of hand.

These particular tractors had plenty of bumps and scrapes if you looked closely, but I dare say would clean up well and will leave a very tidy profit for the dealers that bought them.

@Speedstar he will be more than able to advise on them.
my views is they are cheaper than they have been right enough.
Was that the final cost no buyers fees or anything?
You have the link to either?
Them Fendt tractors new would have been 128 to 145k new depending on warranty on them , I would say what they made today in there condition was about right , if in a dealer's yard probaly add another 10 k or so on to them , most things look value for money the combine was not expensive , but theres not money about there was few years ago & the mid east job is not helping export at all

I was pricing 250hp tractors in early 22,ranged from £150-180k,cheapest was MF and most expensive was JD,never priced a fendt but i wouldnt think it would have been less than the JD.

we bought a new fendt in 2021 & that what they were back then depending on warranty as that can add a lot to the top line

Never mind all that, you're no one unless you drive a Fendt. 🤪

£15 an hour doesn't sound bad if the machine was reliable and never cost much in breakdowns.. But only if it was working to capacity on good paying jobs and making good money. Running around on basic work think i'd rather put a £5er an hour into an old 800-900 favorit and an extra £100 a day in my pocket..
