Apparently the Tier 5 ones have different software which delay the build up of speed a bit to take pressure off the transmission and thus make it last longer.
How is it dangerous. First time surprising yDrove 2019 724 with silage trailer .was very dangerous taking away from junction.s very flat till about 1500rpm then took of good after that.
TMS sorts all that out & they all take up drive faster in pedal mode, than stick modeIs this an engine torque limiter thing at tip-in (i.e. off idle) for emissions reasons where the engine doesn't have torque until its built some revs, or a transmission thing where it doesn't place any load on the engine initially???
What if you artificially raise engine rpms to say 1200 before trying to move off?
I’d be asking for them to take the latest software off.My 69 plate 724 has just had a service and I noticed it was more sluggish after. They did update the software at the service.
