Mursal just to give you a heads up, I bought the one on done deal serious machine, well capable alot more than I thought it would be and lovely to drive, so if you come across one snap it up. I've looked up nearly all the parts and everything readily available except for the bearing on the swivel rams, but it's easy to modify standard bearing to fit.
I will sell though when lincsman unveils his homemade creation, chap clearly hasn't a clue
I'd

No offence taken, mainly because I haven't a barney as to who Ted Everett is, name rings a bell as a darts player but I could be wro
Nice! What gearbox do they have?
No offence intended but you're no Ted Everett.
He was the official Massey Ferguson photographer. :giggle:

Best of luck with the digger.
Looks to have been very well minded.

Has it 2 dipper rams ?? Maybe it's a shadow ?
Ye there is two, she'll pull herself around before she wud stop digging, spent her life in the council, the clock is showing 15k hrs but it's not working now, but ye it is pretty straight would love to get side panels for it I made up a set myself with screener sieves but it's a bit agricultural..

There's a four speed, zf transmission not the quickest of yolks on the road but she would push down a house in first with the 4wd

15k hours with the council is probably about 5k anywhere else.

Anyone any experience of the above 80hp Deutz engined loader with back actor and ZF transmission, apparently? We never came across one before and wondered if they were common in other areas? Any information would be much appreciated.

Own one myself, definitely not homemade. As far as i know, there was 13 imported into ireland for the bord of works and 3 of those were burnt by other digger drivers on the first night.
the back actor and front loader are brilliant and you cant get to the end of the deuzt aircooled engine.

Only know of two others in ireland.

Wouldnt put my name to it, the single thickness metal on the lower bucket pins will bend at the first push, the solid rods to the front bucket are way too thin, most tractor loaders of whatever vintage look the part more than this. The backhoe seems to have all the wrong geometry.
dont bend, work perfect.
the back actor is perfect.

have owned one myself for years now

Could you post them here ?
I have never seen or even heard of one.
Where are the ones that you know of in Ireland ?
Remember seeing one in a field in Co Wicklow about 10 years ago , maybe its the same one.
Don't know of any in this area though.
i know of one in gusserane in wexford which is curently not running or for sale and there was the one in meath. the one in wicklow was actually probably ours because the lad we bought it off said he bought it off a lad in arklow, wicklow. i also know the mechanic which worked on them when they were brought in for the council in dublin.
Heres the pictures
