FendtOne in cab camera terminals.

Just received our FendtOne 724 and bugger me they have changed the camera socket in the cab from a 5 pin female to a 4 pin female so now none of our cables or adaptors fit.
Does anyone know if there is an adapter cable or know what the correct description is of the new socket so we can order some parts?

Is that on the armrest or roof panel, our 724 the camera sockets are on the back of armrest
They are up in the roof now.
There is provision for 4 sockets, two digital and two analogue.
Not sure what the difference in the sockets would be.
Ours has turned up with just the two digital.
Our baler cameras are Motec with 5 pin male plugs which screw straight into the camera terminals on the back of the armrest of the older S4 models.
All our implement cables come into the tractor with a 4 pin female which if we're using individual camera monitors screw straight on.
If we're wanting to run through the Vario Terminal , we have adaptors which pick up the 4 pin and have a 5 pin to go in the arm rest.
The new 4 pin socket in the roof has the thread internally...completely opposite to anything we have. 😕

I got all the parts for my Fendt 5 pin to 4 adapters from these guys

I’m sure they will have what you need

Bit of an update.
When you order camera connections, there should be 2 x digital and 2 x analogue sockets fitted
The analogue sockets are the 5 pin version.
Ours are simply missing and not fitted.
I'm hoping the wiring is tucked away in the roof.

i had thought that might be the case but looked on agco parts yesterday and the part numbers of the connectors were the same. I may have missed the analogue connectors though.

Just missing the two cables up in the roof but fortunately there is enough hand space to fit them without having to take the roof off.
Problem is the cables have to come from Germany and given the current state of freight and supplies down here I'm not sure how long that might take.
Checked with the guy who sells us our Ag camera kits and he said even if we change the plugs ,the analogue cameras we have won't work through the digital sockets.
Probably 99 % of the cameras on implements here will be the analogue version.

Yeah we have fun getting stuff into AU to but luckily any time I need parts they are in stock.

seems a daft setup to have a mix and match of cameras to me. All my cameras are analogue also

Same here Richard.
I can't even think of anyone I know who is running digital cameras.
Bit of a trap, as it turns out all the first Gen 6's have been inadvertently ordered and arrived with just the digital sockets.

Quite a bit different from our current S4's and potentially a little intimidating for a new to Fendt operator.
Personally I don't think we're any better off with all the changes, well at least not for what we do.
I would have been just as happy to have a second screen and the old layout.

Yeah have been asking for a second screen on previous version for a while but apparently not doable. Old setup just couldn’t handle large volumes of data. New one will be 144 section control for sprayers which will suit future machines I’m looking at

Ive had a gen 6 on demo for a few days, told my son it’s like swapping from android to Apple phones.
It took at little learning and I really liked it, only had the single screen, being able to put things on the dash is handy for example the spools. I was told sat nav will be able to move with a future upgrade. The other thing on the update list is the 2nd joystick being able to operate isobus implements, that would be handy for my sprayer.
Joystick even more programmable and many of the buttons can be changed to do what you want. Dedicated auto steer button is good.
Great digital radio and noise cancelling hands free.

sounds like a useful upgrade that would suit my needs well.

the radio on my 936 gen 6 is the same or similiar to the new 724 and it is brilliant. First Bluetooth hands free that is usable on a tractor.

the extra joystick functions and small joystick will be very good for iso implements.
Just need it to rain here.

Just changed my Jd for another one, asked the salesman if I could have a dab radio. The reason for not being able to have one was that the Germans don’t do dab. I do still prefer my Fendt, at least they seem to think about what the customers would like. I’ve asked about a second screen for a while.

wonder how many markets require dab radios. No sign of it down here yet.

I regularly drive some jd and can honestly say my next tractor will still be a Fendt. Jd down here are very much take it or leave it. Can’t get the spec I want on factory orders. Fitted at dealer at massive cost
