It’s a really nice system especially the way it syncs with the task and machine management app which is very user friendly and well thought out. It’s also backward compatible with existing profiplus machines - June 1st launch date for the software and after seeing it today I’m very keen to starrt using it

I’ve got some good video from cab and also a walk through of the office software I will upload when back at my hotel later

Clive the only problem I foresee is that the tech is now getting way ahead of the "average" users capabilities. Most I have come across have never even opened the user/operational manual , let alone the service manual!

To be fair if you’re already familiar with the existing Fendt setup, which is probably around 15 years old now in its various incarnations, and was by their own admission, ripe for an update - then most of the basics aren’t too dis-similar on this new setup. It’s actually a pretty intuitive setup to use.

that’s what was impressive about this, it's really user-friendly, touch screen drag and drop, etc, a lot easier to use than our existing Fendt system

The problem you outline is also why we are seeing so many manufacturers create this remote sync and set-up. One "smart" trained operator will be able to assist numerous others remotely, a great example of that in the JD command center video I posted yesterday

I think the two larger 12” terminals can act as ISO terminals (UTs), but not the smaller 10” “dash pod”, although it did have user-reassignable elements. At least that was my understanding when I spoke to Martin.

Definitely a lot slicker, faster and more integrated than the current setup.

Im a massive fendt fan, but theres far too many buttons on that armrest. Sorry but its way too overcomplicated, most operators will use about 30 % of the functions available, nothing wrong with the old layout imo

Yes, that's correct as I understand it 3 screens - 1 ISO as standard and second ISO drop-down screen as an option. None ISO Dash screen controlled by the "i Drive" knob and not touch screen for safety

The integration to the officer and the rest of a machinery fleet is very well thought out in an extremely user-friendly Fendt ONE app

Product development manager explained to me how the Fendt One Task, Machine, and management application works in this video

Yep, just to be crystal clear on this, it is the “off-tractor” Job Management / ‘Farm Management Lite’ element of FendtONE will be available with current/older tractors that are ProfiPlus (with the current VD03 steering control / VarioDoc Pro capability). Older ProfiPlus machines i.e. pre-2016 that run VD02 controllers, may not be fully compatible. Trying to get that 100% confirmed.

That said it will be possible to integrate FendtONE with these tractors to send/receive jobs using VarioDoc Pro.

Orher than sending and receiving jobs/tasks, as above, the “on-tractor” element of FendtONE will only be available on the new 12” screens and software etc. It won’t be possible to upgrade older 10.1” terminals to run the “look and feel” of FendtONE.
