hi folks , does any one know of the part number of the hydraulic double pump fitted to a year 2000 fermec 860 digger , pump off and no part numbers showing at all , struggling to find any thing on line , pumps changed a few times as they grew younger .
thanks quavers

Will wait for pics, but looks like there were two Parker pump types fitted the one you’ve quoted which was 140 lpm output and the 160 lpm output pump, part no. 6102161M91

Edit - I think the Parker (formerly Ultra Hydraulics) part numbers is 2PR037-2PR037A (Ultra part no. 9306J) for the larger 37cc + 37cc tandem pump (Fermec part no. 6102161M91).

The smaller tandem pump (Fermec 3518758M91) looks like it's 37cc + 29cc displacement and it's Parker part no. is 2PR037-2PR029A (Ultra part no. 5739Y)

Were do you get all that information from @Pheasant Surprise. Your middle name isn't Google by any chance. The pump part number should be stamped on the rear section of the hydraulic pump. On the same side as the inlet port of the front section. Both units are available from WHP but the price on eBay for the 37cc + 29cc is better. Let's hope @quavers you have that unit.

Terex Parts catalogue online has part numbers for the Fermec 860 hydraulics. Also the eBay link has a drawing which shows the Parker and Ultra part no's and you can cross reference from there.

It looks like fitting will interchange for both size pumps - same SAE mounting pattern, 15-spline input shaft and port sizes.

As you say the eBay price for the smaller pump is pretty good. WHP was listing both pumps for significantly more than the eBay listing and Tidyco has both listed for just under £800 on their website, but no idea of actual lead-time.

Ok. Not sure what part nr 082185 is but 7872 is a very good number and 3799 is the week and year the hyd pump was made.
WHP info tells me that part number 9306J was replaces 7871. @quavers would you mind checking the stamped part number on your hyd pump. I will do some more digging tomorrow.

Can you check your model of 860 (Power-shift, Syncro-shuttle, etc) against the Fermec parts list on the Terex catalogue

I've had a better look and it appears most of the 860 variants are using the 37cc + 37cc tandem pump (6102161M91)
yea seen this and was thinking that I had the 160l pump , but that TX6101988m91 kinda made me wobble abit when I was given it and could cause problems if I order the wrong pump because there is a 10 day delay in getting the tx pump delivered and its costing a good bit more , that ebay pump is mega cheap .

Compare the port sizes, shaft etc to the dimensions listed on the drawing (attached) for the smaller pump from the eBay listing - I think the key dimensions for both the 140L pump and 160L pump will be interchangeable.

The front pump (nearest the input shaft) is 37cc on all the variants. If you dismantle your pump you can measure the width of the gears in the rear pump to determine its displacement compared to the front pump. If they are the same size as the gears in the front pump then it’s simply a 37cc + 37cc tandem unit, smaller gears in the back and you have the 37cc + 29cc unit.

Double check the the input shaft, is 1” diameter 15 teeth on the spline (maybe that what the circled “15” means stamped on the body). Take off the compensator valve on the rear pump and measure the port sizes and mounting bolt spacing, for both outputs and the input port.

The eBay listing also describes the key dimensions (as copied below) of their smaller pump, as said compare to yours.

- Rotation- Anti Clockwise (looking from shaft end)
- 1” Diameter 15 tooth SAE spline16/32 Pitch
- SAE B 2 Hole mounting flange
- Front pump displacement 37cc/rev (37L/Min per 1000 rpm)
- Rear pump displacement 29 cc/rev (29L/Min per 1000 rpm)
- Single 1.5" SAE flange inlet
- Front pump outlet 3/4" SAE Flange
- Rear pump outlet 3/4" SAE Flange
- Maximum working pressure on front pump 230 bar
- Maximum working pressure on rear pump 220 bar
- Max. Input shaft torque 460 Nm
