We have a old Lely centreliner, has anyone used a twin disk spinner for applying grit to a single track lane? Don't really want to be gritting the hedge.
Shorten the vanes, run it on tick over.
Grit will just sit in the hopper and not come out,,,,,,,will need a proper agitator to work
@Alf has 2.I found that out about 4 hours ago! What a ballache. HAve welded small plates 3" coming up inside the hopper from the disks but it still bridges above the plates. Anyone recommend a purpose built tractor/telehandler mounted/towed gritter?
and 2 mounted ones .@Alf has 2.
@newholland has a good one fits tractor or loadall [emoji106]
You could make an agitator?? It needs to be on a universal joint and be up about 400 mm. Difficult to explain but google amazone or Fleming etc and you will see what’s requiredI found that out about 4 hours ago! What a ballache.
