Is it a quicke/alo? Both my muck buckets are buggeredYe, bottom fell out my other one last week and my grain bucket is a bit big for muck and soil etc
No, it’s a actually a JCB bucket. Looks well made and has cone and pin brackets from the factory. Is it a quicke/alo? Both my muck buckets are buggered☹
I’ve just been quoted on swapping my 2017 Kuhn 40.2W EMC for a similar spec KRM. It’s certainly more than I was hoping for, the Kuhn being less than half of the cost of the new one. I will see if the pencil can be sharpened. The Kuhn is a 3200l hopper and I need to find 8k for a 3000l KRM or 9k for the 3300l version. I had hoped for a bit more in pat ex.
I don’t rate my 40.2 as much as my previous 40.1 so looking for a change. Anyway, some pencil sharpening has been happening this morning. If it doesn’t have any extra features, then why would you accept a 50% depreciation on 4 years, on a machine that should do 20 without much bother?
I've gone for the wider hopper this time it's gonna be a pain for on the roadIt’s definitely a bit wider! Although at least it doesn’t look out of place on the 6215 now .

How wide is it?I've gone for the wider hopper this time it's gonna be a pain for on the road
The 6215 is on 80” anyway so it’s only about 2” stuck out either side so shouldn’t be a problem also we don’t have much single track roads round here.I've gone for the wider hopper this time it's gonna be a pain for on the road
It was a stock machine so I think it had just had all the boxes ticked on the optionsOnly 6” each side isn’t it?
I can see the great benefit of making a lower hopper for a set volume. Not that it stopped Phil going for the ladder too!
2.9mHow wide is it?
Most big tractors 3m wide.
The demo one I had 4 yrs ago was the wide hopper and it was wide enough to catch hedges with . A couple of gates on a contracting job are 10ft slip gates with very high posts so went for the narrow hopper but he's changed feet onto light bulky stuff so I struggle to get 4 bags into the 2800l hopper so went for a stock 3200l machine this timeHow wide is it?

Off the trailer and straight to work this morning. Not a lot of difference from the old 1 other than being a but bigger and more sections shut offIt’s definitely a bit wider! Although at least it doesn’t look out of place on the 6215 now .
