I'm having 0:12:12 fibrophos tipped for £85 at the moment.

That's a £38/t price difference to compound when the strengths are equalised. My Fibrophos gets spread on an area rate of around £10.50/ha due to GPS variable rate dosing. How do you pay yours? What is the spreading cost per tonne?
I think the difference is just haulage costsI'm having fibrophos tipped for £85 at the moment.
We pay £4/ac spreading approx 250kg/ac which sounds enough compared to yours at variable rate
What do you mean when the strengths are equa
lised ?
I see, i was doubling the fiberphos price to compare it

Price is similar around the country but haulage will play a part. Even if it's coming from a more local store, it's had to be hauled there and storage paid for.I think the difference is just haulage costs
this stuff is a waist product produced every day and the disposal of it would cost far more than the storage and haulage to a farm who can legally use itPrice is similar around the country but haulage will play a part. If it's any consolation, it seems it's cheaper in Dorset than in Norfolk.
Yes, well aware of that @yellow belly . Just trying to work out how a 300 mile haul and storage charge plus localised haulage from store to farm makes the product cheaper on farm than a 20 mile haul from source direct to farm.
Same today but pay November, butwas quoted £195 today for Nitram delivered October, pay December.
Yet againCF withdrawing prices tomorrow at noon!
Have tried urea on grassland a few times, every time the stock don't like it. Seems to make grass less paletable.Makes £200 urea look cheap.
