With N prices seemingly on the slide I have just done a deal to buy all my liquid this year priced on the delivery day

See no point fixing ahead in the current market ?

This supply thing is scaremongering to fill order books ! I called for 3 loads of liquid n / s a couple of weeks ago and it arrived the next day !

As always its the Fert. companies trying to reduce the seasonality of their business, only its more difficult for them if prices fall as you head into peak season.

We hear every year that you must order early as there simply are not enough lorries to get it on farm in time.

Ordered some Lithan mid Feb turned up last week, where it will sit in the shed for a fortnight till hopefully we can travel.

Then we get a couple warm weeks and they don't answer the phone.

Mine still not arrived but to be honest no prospect of it going on in next week or two as it stands.

My usual fibrophos rep has moved jobs and now working for major liquid fert company. Soon it will be time to start thinking about summer (spring if no crops growing) fert regimes. I am keen to put some boron in the seedbed - is there any solid compound fert that comes with boron in it? Perhaps mixing some up with a suspension NPK would be best? Thoughts?
