100 litres gives 32 kg of N. The 100 litres weighs 128.9 kg.

I find W/V easier to work with as you don't need the SG all the time except when programming the sprayer to apply what I want.
Cheers that is what I had been working on. Would be a bit embarrassing if my maths had been 28% out.

MOP £273/t
TSP £287/t
DAP £330/t which makes the N very cheap if you look at the TSP price.

It's about time the N prices dropped - very little business done at very steep monthly price increments if buying forwards. They will have to blink and drop the prices to get a nibble if they want to sell much product this year. The lack of autumn cereal drilling will certainly be decreasing demand & most livestock farmers I've spoken to have very full silage clamps this autumn.

I feel whole heartedly for their plight.

Got a text from MV today. Talk of CF dropping by £20 a tonne

Would be brilliant however I highly doubt it, that would make it around £15/t cheaper than what they came out with for their new season price in June.

They have just released terms for DEC/JAN (Same price as spot price Nov) - You'll be looking roughly £257-£260 delivered on farm. Fairly sure with the market being so quiet that they're exporting again. Selling it cheaper abroad than they are their own country

Imported products stay extremely competitive.
