Well in the last 8 years I reckon it’s been about 70:30 in favour of buying early on deferred payment terms.someone out there will be able to give an idea as to how many years out of the last 20 has it paid to buy and pay for including the cost of money as against waiting 7/8months or so till needed in feb

In most years, yes it's worth buying as soon as the season opens. 2008, 2016 and 2019 are the exceptions to this.

0-0-60 is around £252 and TSP 0-46-0 is maybe a pound or two dearer? DAP 18-46-0 bought last week @£292 which is the best value with the nitrogen costing only a little over £ 2 per unit.ADM, JH Bunn, Thomas Bell
