Fertiliser Price Tracker

Your man needs his bum kicked. Salesman? Strictly speaking, the calcium doesn’t raise pH, the carbonate does. No carbonate in CAN.
Now I’m not saying anything wrong about my man. I’ve probably picked up the wrong end of the stick when calcium was mentioned and probably thought that the extra cost must have been the liming value. It appears to be money for nothing the extra cost.

That price seems high. Yara nutribooster 25N should be low 200s. I bought another load a few weeks ago at 205.

I'm going to use it to top dress cereals. Looks cheapest source of N:S yara Axan 27.9 was high 220s.

Ok. My other rep gave me the same price. Stockbooster 25/5/5 with sulphur + trace elements
Cheap blend 25/5/5 is £225 or more here

Nitrogen on its own here doesn’t work out any cheaper performance wise

It's my first year using nutribooster.

Do you think cows do better on it?
Stockbooster is a different product.
I think Nutribooster is nitrogen Selinium and Sulphur but can’t remember
Cattle will definitely do better with added Selinium
All my young cattle must have Selinium or they get white muscle disease

Horrible that is, I worked on a farm a fair few years ago and we had to just about run as soon as the calves were born to inject them as the deficiency was that bad.

We aren’t as bad as that. Most noticeable problem is around the 6 months plus time they seem to be growing but need more Selinium than is available. They slow down and loose weight and scour. Some would just die. A bolus is all it takes and some mineral job done.

Don't want to go through that again!
