No money in dairy ?
Hope there is, I've just started in it this year. Over £1000 value per cow, £1-2000 in infrastructure plus parlour and some machinery. You do the maths.
anyway, I had prices on Yara last that looked dear compared to those quoted above. Have enough in the shed to cover what I need after the dismal crop of silage I picked up yesterday. And it won’t get spread till it rains, so not going anywhere soon by the looks. So I’m sitting tight.

I'm planning on doing some testing next year to see how much difference sulphur makes to the uptake of N in our crops. Currently apply 100kg SO3 to each field but it's not my favourite job when it's already a busy time of year.
In what form? It’s good to do trials.

I've done trials on silage aftermath. The difference in initial regrowth was dramatic with the sulphur side looking much greener and longer. Can't remember there being a huge difference when it was cut again. Would need yield monitoring on chopper to measure accurately.
