You guys need to switch to the Canadian narrative.

Well if you didn’t think OUR oil and gas were so dirty that all processing was done in other countries, then we wouldn’t be so vulnerable to other countries being cut off! We need our own processing!

😭😭😭😭

Between fertilizer prices, seed shortfalls, and moisture deficits we’ll probably just grow dirt here next year

Managed to secure another load of AMS today, bug*ers had increased the price this time. 68p/kg of n, previously it was 59p.
I was also told, that’s it, no more, all sold for this year, lucky don’t need anymore, all bought for the crops I intend to drill or have drilled.
500 tons of muck and all n @ an average of 54p/kg, that’s me done for 21/22 season.

68p a kg doesn't sound too bad

Eek! Will require armed guards next.
would help if the good old ahdb started to publish the price of major inputs to user around the world ,They have now finally at last recently started to publish grain prices and shipping rates so rather than trying to talk the price down as they seem to have done today albeit to no avail might just sway my opinion in any forthcoming vote

how much is your fertilizer atm and is it readily available and could you explain why the seed shortfalls as seems to me this is becoming a world wide problem to which those in power hanvnt realised what the consequences could be

N is over $1000/mt. Phos is $1200-$1300. Those are the two I know. For now I think most N is readily available. Other stuff is limited stock like Phos due to China.

Seed is short because of the drought. Supplies didn’t yield so there’s not product available.

Once India started subsidising it's farmers fert purchases , it's right that China restricts any fert sales. Can't have Chinese fert going to subsidised Indian peasants ahead of its own citizens.

This has a #bloodbath feeling now. Goodness known what new season 2022 fert will open at.

When I bought my urea in June a lot of people was very negative saying it was to much and they was waiting I could not understand their thinking when prices of everything was going higher. Could the fact a lot of people did not buy earlier as usual has not helped and pushed the prices up. What have the people that thought urea was to much at £ 290 done have you not drilled any crops.
