I was taking my lead from the tender instructions

would be a big risk to offer tonnes outside of the parameters

Meanwhile, hearing that Sri Lanka are engaging discussions with Russian producers directly to secure ferts. The same Sri Lanka that defaulted on their debt and the same Sri Lanka that declared a few years back that no ferts would be required at all... I had no idea George Useless was Sri Lankan. Nevertheless, there's not much relevance to Sri Lanka's buying compared to India. The volume is tiny by comparison
Not sure that Sri Lanka is creditworthy or has the cash to import fertiliser after their recent terrible governance which has resulted in broke farmers, hardly any crop to export and basically a broke country. Mostly as a result of banning fertilisers.

There’s a lesson there for many, not that they wish to hear it.

yara brought new season An 34.5 Fert out yesterday in Europe £675/t

Seems Yara and others went shopping for orders, filled their books and everyone's happy

from what I heard, terms will be withdrawn on Friday

it's how a market operates

I guess, being further north, the UK should follow suit before the end of May? Anything mentioned at the llama show?
